Green Geeks Sign Up Procedure
Perhaps the one thing that many people seem to have problems with when they are signing up to be a part of a new company is the sign up procedure. Signing up with Green Geeks could not be an easier task to complete.
We’re going to lead you through the step by step process of signing up for an account with Green Geeks, and what it entails you to have to do in order to begin building your website through this eco-friendly web hosting service. The first thing that you will need to do is log onto the official Green Geeks website.
Once you have logged onto the website, you will notice there will be six different tabs at the top of the page. The first tab reads web hosting the next reseller hosting and so on. The last tab says Order now in bright orange lettering. You are going to select this tab.
Upon selecting this tab you will be led to the first initial sign up page for the Green Geeks webhosting company. On this page you will be asked to enter in your desired domain name. If you currently have a domain name you may enter this information in as well. There are two boxes on the screen, one is to register a new domain and the other is to utilize your current domain and simply transfer the hosting over to Green Geeks.
After you have entered your domain information you will then need to click the next button to proceed with the signup process. You will be taken to another screen which is where you will be asked to enter information pertaining to you. You will need to enter your account information which includes your name, address, phone number and email address.
After entering this information into the database of Green Geeks you will then be asked to pick your hosting package. You will have the option to sign up for a monthly plan, yearly plan or 24 month plan. Your price for the services will depend on the plan that you pick.
If you have any coupon codes you will also enter this information under the package information sub-heading. After you have entered in all of this information the last thing you will be asked to enter is your billing information.
You will be given the option to pay with a credit card or by PayPal. If you choose to enter your credit card in as your payment option you will need this card on hand so you can enter in the type of card you are utilizing as well as the credit card number, expiration date and the signature code that is located on the back of the card.
